Okay, this is from page 1 of the thread ... but it's newish to me and relevant to a recent experience I had ...

It has regularly bothered me over the years just how much Fred Schneider from the B-52s sounds just like Jello Biafra from the Dead Kennedys.

I swear they are the same person.

I had this very same experience two days ago ... I was driving around Oakland listening to the UC Berkeley radio station, and they were playing some song with Jello making unpleasant noises. I'm not sure if it was the DKs or one of his later things ... but anyway, my first thought was that it was Fred Schneider, not Jello B. My second thought was "when did Fred Schneider get political?" My third thought was "this is not shiny happy B-52s music ... what happened to Fred?"
