Just got the hard copy of my first/last scholarly publication.  You'll have to take this blurry pic on faith because the website of the journal hasn't been updated in years.

Why is it your first & last?

Maybe I'll be motivated to write something again. Writing is hard when you're not in school.  But legal "scholarship" is actually sometimes easier to get published if you're *not* a professor.  Adds spice to the journals.  (Also, it is way easy to get published in a law review no matter who you are.  It's like the opposite of science.)

What an appropriate thread.

I do college radio.

I'm on the air tonight, and [pretty much] every Wednesday from 10pm until midnight.

Also, I co-host a show that's exclusively new stuff (in terms of indie rock) Mondays 1-3pm.

If you're in Northeastern Connecticut (yeah, right) check out WHUS 91.7 fm, or, of course, online at http://www.whus.org and of course, http://methanolcereal.blogspot.com

I would like a series involving classic hip-hop lyrics. Or even interludes like 'don't play me like I got a flower pot head, kid'

Andy, where do you find the frames for your stitch work?

Hobby Lobby, mostly.  It's an Oklahoma based company, but I think they're all over the place at this point.  I've started buying nicer frames because it makes it funnier (to me at least) and frames are continually on 50% off sale at Hobby Lobby.

i love hobby lobby!  i prefer them to michael's or joann's.  i was wondering because some of the frames looked antique-ish (which does make it funnier...to me.  the script doesnt hurt either.) so i figured perhaps goodwill, etc. may have been behind this.

the only thing I hate about Hobby Lobby is that the family who owns it is religious, so they are closed on Sundays. Other than that, they blow everyone else out of the water.

I loved Hobby Lobby, but they seem to be drying up, while Michael's seems to be getting larger - boo. Pretty much to the point I have to order all my arty stuffs from multiple specialty places nowadays. Way to go, hobby enthusiasts.

Here's a Q and A with Todd Glass: http://www.buzzine.com/2009/07/todd-glass-interview/

I've been on a Todd Glass kick lately, that was a fun read. Wait, where's our brofist smiley? TOM!
