I like this already and I watched it without the sound. Cher's looking kind of rough though (1:50)

I've posted before about the record label I do with my friend, Hi Science Records. We just got the first batch of our first release pressed and it's now up for sale online. It's really exciting for us and I thought I'd post it here in case anyone wanted to check it out. It's a limited run on vinyl right now, 250 copies on clear vinyl with white splatter. There's a digital copy for sale as well. We'll see how this first batch goes and hopefully we can get more made. Also, we have a few other things that are in the works right now that will hopefully be available soon. You can check it out here: http://swilson13.bandcamp.com/

here's our official site and our tumblr blog too:
http://hi-science.com/
http://hi-science.tumblr.com/

I'm not asking you guys to buy anything of course but you can hear the songs on the site and if you like what you hear hopefully you can help us out. Buy it if you want or if anyone has any connection to a blog or something that does music reviews and you could send it their way that would be amazing. We could use all the support we can get right now.

We're already planning on sending a copy to WFMU of course. We're both Jersey boys after all, even though we live in LA, so FMU was first on our list of places to send it to.

oh yeah one more thing, I'll post a more detailed thing in the FOT meet ups board soon but for LA FOTS next weekend we're gonna be doing a show in the cart yard of the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood with a movie playing afterwards. The show will be free, the movie will cost whatever the theater charges for movies, 10 bucks probably. Again, I'll have more detailed info soon but we're gonna try to make it a regular thing so if any of you LA FOTs play music or have friends who do please hit me up, maybe we can get you on one of the future shows.

ok that's all, thanks for putting up with my shameless self promotion!

hope some of you dig what we're doing.

My ebook is available here: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/toothychum

It is a big, fun, ridiculous adventure/satire/work of historical fiction.

The actual booky-book will be available soon.

Enjoy!

What does it say about me that I want to eat almost all of the soaps on that page?

If you were to claim that Australian people ate soap, just as a natural thing down there that nobody ever brought up, I would totally believe it. If they ever get around to doing a new Mad Max movie, and somebody just whips out a bar of Sunlight and takes a chomp out of it, I think my reaction would be "Well, sure, yeah, that's a thing they do."
This may be the year I will disappear.

We all eat soap here, but never in public, and it's seldom depicted on film. There's a certain amount of shame attached to the habit, hence the common retort "Go lather ya guts!"

I've always wanted to see an Irish Springs parody where after the guy cuts the chunk out of the soap like an apple, he eats it.

What happened to Irish Spring anyway? I haven't thought about those commercials for years.

I think about them all the time whenever I see an old spice commercial with that whistling in it. It's as much of a rip off of the Irish Spring whistle tune as that Peter Bjorn and John whistling song is a ripoff of that racist chinese tune that always plays in 80's movies.

And then his lady friend comes by, says "Manly, yes, but I eat it, too" before taking a big bite directly from the bar.
