I once paid $450 for a hot dog.
I hope that was at a fundraiser for a good charity.

dammit, I dumped the pictures off of my wife's camera this weekend and found some pictures of us living it up at Serendipity III from this summer.  I had the relatively modestly priced frozen hot chocolate and she had a raspberry sundae.

One thing I will say for the place: we had to wait 45 minutes (people behind us were over two hours wait), but it was Fleet week and they had two sets of four come in.  They seated them immediately and comped each person three large dessert items (it was comical how much shit they had).  I know it's not much in the face of this ridiculous sundae, but I was impressed.

Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

No, it was just from a hot dog cart.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

a dirty water dog?

That sounds like a new and unfamiliar euphemism and it scares me.

Yet it scared $450 out of your wallet.

I assumed a dirty-water dog was one from that vat of liquid in the vendor's cart.

Am I being too literal again?

It was a magic hot dog.  Also, I was really high.

Ha! The $25,000 price tag is slightly more reasonable now that I learned you get to keep the diamond and gold bracelet. It should really be platinum, though, at that price. Srsly.
