She was in my hate pit before I even knew I had one.

Wow, I almost called in with this one.

She just had a baby. I shudder to think about how that took place.

Also we were flipping through the channels the other day, and I noticed that while she's on maternity leave, they have a woman hosting who's almost an exact clone of her. It's truly bizzare.

I agree with the guy who called about Jim from the office.  His smirk is what I hate.  The actors smirk, not so much the character.  He is a real fisher price man.

And the guy's so dime-a-dozen they found a clone and put him in that snoozefest Chuck on Mondays.

Props to Tom for the methodical multi-snub of the douche trying to nominate Keith Olbermann for the hate pit, btw. Every point the guy tried to make got a soft punch until the final crack to that sweet spot under the chin that always results in a lights-out knockout. See ya later.

Hey, I like that guy, he makes me laugh. And the Chuck guy is a Jimmy Fallon clone, right? Because Fallon's career was so cometlike that NBC poured resources into cloning him. What's Fallon's next film project, Farcer of the Penguins?

Erika, amazing.  Are you sure you didn't get help from Bobo on that one?

Also, ugh.

New to my hate pit: Simon Rich.  I just heard him interviewed on The Sound of Young America, and even though he's going for the charming, nebbishy twerpy guy type beloved (one assumes) of most FOT, he reeks of privilege - seriously, anyone who wants to give Laurie a hard time but likes this creep can join him in my hate pit.  He starts off as just another comedy (SNL) writer with a book, but over the course of the interview it's all revealed - son of NY Times cultural critic Frank Rich, Harvard grad and former Lampoon staffer.  And his work is about as funny as Maureen Dowd when her meds are working.  Oh, the English phrasebook tells you how to deal with terrorists and then turns into an episode of 24 or something, ha ha.  Couldn't you have reached a little further back on the shelf for a joke?  Or is that something you usually have your servants do?

Anyway, I hope he's enjoying it down there.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

Based on that picture, I don't know about Hate Pit so much as Pity Pit. The poor guy can't even put his right arm to his side, what with all that voluminous underarm hair that extends even beyond the bottom of the photo.
This may be the year I will disappear.
