Nice to see a Pentangle clip.  I first heard them in 1969, when the show "Take Three Girls" featured a version of "Light Flight" (with different lyrics) as its theme song.  My eldest sister fell in love with the group, and the first four albums ("The Pentangle," "Sweet Child," "Basket of Light," and "Cruel Sister") formed part of the soundtrack of my early teens.  These, plus solo albums by Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, are still in my possession (she being sadly sans record player these days).  I really should drag them all out and give them a relisten.

Oh, just so you know, some while ago in chat you commented that I must take a long shower if I can sing all of "Cruel Sister" during one.  Shortly afterward, I did a test, and I'll have you know I made it through "Cruel Sister," "Ne Me Quitte Pas," and part of "Kevin Barry" before I turned off the taps.

Clearly, I am a water hog.  Good thing I live in the water-rich Northeast, I guess.

As to what I'm listening to these days, mostly I'm just lazy and leave on WFMU.  When I do bestir myself to dig out a record or CD, I usually, boringly choose The Specials, X-Tal, Nick Cave, early Billy Bragg, and the banana album.  I am in a rut.

I'm listening to some Blixa Bargeld MP3s I just downloaded from http://postpunkjunk.com
It sez here http://postpunkjunk.com/?page_id=3 that these MP3s are strictly for "educational purposes only."  So remember that if you download any from that site.

I would have to say the one where he and his wife are gonna renew their vows and they have a rabbi whose brother died on 9-11, but who didn't actually die in the WTC, but rather in a hospital on like 72nd street and then larry said "Let's Roll" right before the wedding and the rabbi got all offended and Larry was like "Oh, I didn't know if that if you died on a hospital on 73rd St. that that made you part of the tragedies" or something.  Ha Ha!

I found a bunch of my dad's old punk rock music. If you would like to hear two choice songs by my father, here they are. I love them.

I've been listening to Petey's new CD that he gave me at the record fair. Great stuff, Petey. Hopefully I'll continue to enjoy it as it won't eject from my car stereo. Lose the label making software son, and get thee a Sharpie.

I've been listening to Petey's new CD

I want one!*

*Coincidentally, those were my middle sister's very first words.  My first, I'm told, was "hamburger."  My eldest sister wins with her "Damn fly!"
