The Dan Deacon set from Barcelona on WFMU. The audience participation stuff doesn't translate well to the radio. It's like radio animation.

I don't think he does anymore.  But we're not short of Momus' writings.  His blog and articles are generally very good. 

Message boards like ilx intimidate the heck out of me, but I do periodically scan it for people's "Best Albums" lists.  Maybe I should give it another go.

By the way, Momus is really uneven as a musician--he has a lot of duds mixed in with his occasional pop gems--but this album and Ocky Milk are really good.

There's a lot of good music-related insight on ilx. But there are also a lot of narrow-minded and snarky people that inhabit that board, just like any other internet message board I suppose. I enjoy reading it though.
