So, who else on here is using lala? I just found it a week or so ago, and I think it's pretty great-- if anyone is interested in starting/joining a cool kids club on there, lemme know.
I do sometimes, it's a pretty good service, although I wish they'd let you stream a song more than once.

The Chris Knox Tribute/Benefit Album, Stroke.

So far, it's really great. I'm pulling out my Tall Dwarfs CDs to listen to them, too.

I was a little bummed about that too at first, but honestly, you can pay five bucks and get the ability to stream at least fifty songs an unlimited number of times from any computer with a halfway decent internet connection... it's a pretty good deal.

Back on topic...

I wasn't entirely sure about this on my first listen, but aside from a couple of tracks towards the end of the album I think this surpasses Roadkillovercoat, which I liked a whole lot.

Found at the Princeton Record Exchange, and also a cutout.  On heavy, heavy rotation.  It took a lot of record-buying, but I've come to realize that we could cut our entire collection down to this and an obscure late 50s Miles Davis record my wife plays over and over.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I didn't know about the five bucks thing. I'll have to look in to that. Thanks.

I like that record a lot, Grote.  I love Forever Changes.  Particularly You Set The Scene.

Forever Changes is one of the best albums EVAH.  Haven't been able to find any of the original albums on LP for a price I can afford, but the greatest hits has all the greatest hits on it.

You are wise to pursue the vinyl, particularly with that one.  I bought the cd for the sake of convenience.  It's ok but I just don't feel the physical lift I get from the record.

The Flying Lotus-produced opening track Code from José James' new album Blackmagic. Good stuff. Doesn't seem like the rest of the album can match it though (first impressions).

The Scharpling and Wurster Merge Records thing.

I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
