New Mountain Goats.  Only listened a couple times but I like it, and their stuff usually takes a few listens to really hit me. I've become a late convert to them (via Best Show bump).

By the way, ordered through Merge and got some awesome add-ons. Merge sampler CD, a 7" Mountain Goats, online download.  They treat you right.

This is my favorite one since Heretic Pride.

Unsung masterpiece. Like the best parts of punk, extreme metal, and PSF psych fighting it out. Maybe my favorite album of the 00s.

The mesmerizing final volume of the trilogy. Not my favorite of the three, but excellent nonetheless.

Uhh... the internet. In my limited time with it, it's just as good as their first two albums and very different from those albums in a lot of good ways.  Can't wait till my physical copy arrives next week.
