Best: return of the Montage (w/the BillyCrystalSucks Wheel) "I gotta get, you gotta need it, I need it in the morning, I need on a picnic and...THERE IT IS!" "Attention teachers and students" "NERDS" "EYES! ON THE! PRRRIIIZE! HAHAHHAAHEEE HEE!" "Bayonne" "HI I'M DENNIS!" Kevin Smith blowed up.

Gee was Kevin Smith baaaaaaked in that clip, ya think?

Worst: That idiot during Bowling Alley Confessions who said something to the effect of "I thought I was a black guy and took this guy's belt"  It's kind of sad the show is saddled with all these boring (probably white) DUDES, who sound interchangeable, acting 'weird' since moving to .net
Vandalism! Sick vandalism! When I get my hands on the little punks I'm gonna hang them by their Buster Browns!

does the new caller manifesto work in conjunction with the old Best Show manifesto, the one with "the music of Tom Waits sucks" and "respect must be paid to Ernie Anastos"

Every bit of Tank Talk, a topic being on the table, the Bowling Alley Confessions this time around as well as one hell of a Bowl Company. Terre T's call was also amazing. Last night was a big W, despite all the people trying to reach the EP of The Best Show.

I'll also apologize for being one of the people for ruining the live Half Hour of Power. I've already picked out an ice floe as punishment for snitching.

The appropriate punishment is a barging, I believe

Terre T's concern that a sensory deprivation tank session would shatter Tom's mind was adorable.

Remember when Tom hung up on Matt because he cursed on the old show and hoped that his Spike TV show failed, how far we've come.

From that page:
"The photo was a key plot point in Steven Spielberg's film The Terminal..."

So I guess we've come full circle from The Terminal talk from a couple of weeks ago.

As a married man of 17 years I cannot agree with this sentiment enough. Pure delight.

That was definitely a highlight. I also really enjoyed when Tom started giving out specific details about the Huntsville bowling alley fire. The Bad Company-ing was great as was the sound collage.

Speaking of the collage, I suspect that Tom was potting down the audio on Kevin Smith so that the bomb drop would be super loud. Tricked me, I turned it up and had to dive to turn the volume down real quick. I read somewhere that Monty Python wanted to do the same thing on their TV show back in the 60's but the BBC would not let them.

This past week's show was GREAT.  All of it.  But this moment, paraphrasing...:

"Order some Orange Chicken, straight from the kitchen, and then pour the hot, steaming plate of Orange chicken all over your stupid face"

..from the end of Bowling Alley Confessions still makes me giggle.

Just for the record, I noticed that the iTunes description for this episode refers to Karl with K. Carl with a C is the technician from Newbridge Audio who worked on Tom's soundboard and chatted with Sanjaya on 9/8/2009. The following week his twin brother, Karl, called the show. He revealed that their parents are Carl and Kharl (it's Swiss).

The WFMU archive page also incorrectly refers to "Karl" in the 9/8/2009 show description. Sick stuff!

"Andy Warhol.  Surprisingly strong running back." - Karl, 9/15/2009

Thanks Omar! We'll change it!
