I hope the disgruntled expression on Spike's face isn't an indication that the JWS/Spike relationship is taking a turn towards Bickle/Senator Palantine territory.

What a good sport JWS is, this photo makes me like him as a regular guy.  With a little old man make up I think he'd make a great "Gorch" in the Best Show Movie.  Good on you, Spike!  Looking forward to your in person appearance on the show.

Good job, Spike.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Disgruntled? Ha! In any event, JWS is really a sweet man in person.

Right on, Spike. Was JWS on "The View" or did you just happen to take the picture there?

He was taping scenes for ONE LIFE TO LIVE, which is in the same studio as THE VIEW (both are ABC shows).

Better late than never, but another voice to say "what a great show."

Cub Scouts selling Guac and Nachos!
Lazer Whips!

Just catching up with portions of last week's show that I missed live.

I was howling at 13-year-old Morris talking to a map in his room, asking "So Spain, what do you think of The Best Show?"

Plus "violently haunt".

Best:

- The 12-year-old Curtis Sliwa telling Tom that the Canadian Occupy protesters should "occupy a desk," and Tom then telling the kid that his head's going to soon be occupying a toilet bowl.

- Tom forgetting Wally Wackiman's color and name.

Vance is just so darn earnest. It's great. His determined thoroughness towards fleshing out Phil Collins alternate-timeline scenarios is commendable. And then when he's done, he just put on his Bose headphones and goes back to livin' in a prog-rock n' roll fantasy. Kinda poignant, like the Martin Starr character in Freaks and Geeks. But not really poignant. He just likes the things that he likes. Good on ya, Vance.
