The Canadian Glen Beck just sent a couple of tweets. Maybe tonight's the night we get treated to him singing "I'm A Little Teapot."

Tom's dislike for the Eagles made me happy.

I was howling during the WFUV slam-fest. So awesome that Tom called those D.Js out. The 10,000 maniac reference was priceless. I was forced to listen to that station for 8 hrs a day one summer for a job I had...truly horrifying. And to bookend it with the Pete Seeger stuff was gold. Going after Seeger is ballsy and hilarious!

Great show! I'm behind in eps. and catching up on some laughs!

I'm just at the Matt Walsh call. The beginning before that is the funniest 15-or-so minutes I've ever heard in anything. "Magic Johnson in a world of Greg Kite's."

Going after Seeger is ballsy and hilarious!

Really? Why, 'cause he's such a power player that you're really sticking your neck out telling the truth about the old fraud?

(I haven't listened yet.  I may well find it funny.  But "ballsy"?  Where, at the Rest Home for Ex-Wobblies?)

yeah, maybe not the right word. I dunno, with all the Dylan/Woody Guthrie/Springsteen tribute album lineage etc. I just thought Seeger was an untouchable, which makes it even weirder and funnier.

Dylan did seem quasi-crushed in 'No Direction Home' re-telling the axe incident. I believe he just wanted to go out and get drunk afterwords. His feelings were hurt!

"Hey Gary, what are you doing on Ken [Dashow]'s head?" (BeatlesCon, Classic Rock Creeps)

"I can't get all the peppers on this thing!" Tom as Wally Wackiman running a Chipotles (Best Show Apprentice)

"Well Pete, we kinda added a few things to it, uh, what are you doing with that axe?" (Careful With That Axe, Pete)

Of course, "The Gary & Vance Show"

I think ballsy is a perfect word for it.  Ballsy because at this point most people find someone like Pete Seeger unassailable due to his age and perceived impact.  He's sacrosanct.

Well, just for perspective's sake:

Pete Seeger refusing to name names or to invoke the 5th before HUAC: Not funny, but ballsy

Goofing on Pete Seeger in a way unlikely to get indignant responses from anyone except a few super-earnest hippies that you can easily best in a snark fight if it comes to that: Potentially funny, but not all that ballsy
