Can I just say that Catie Tumbls The Best Show is hands down my new favorite thing ever?

I second that. Right on, Catie the Scribbler!
Those are great.  Beyond great really.

Man the Wally stuff is awful. Why would a true fan of the Best Show make listeners and Tom go through that?

The morning after Wally's now infamous 'call in' last night I wonder...

Question : Will the ban get reset?

How could I be so angry at Wally for that (horrible) call especially knowing the potential consequences and yet, haplessly, felt so sorry for Wally during that call? (bullies stop picking on Wally!)

Answer: He gets a pass.

Aldi's is a quality discount grocery store that I shop at all the time.

Wally's call made me sad.

TRUE FACT:

Aldi's is owned by the same people as Trader Joe's.  They're basically the same place except Trader Joe's has fancier stuff and doesn't feel like a post-Soviet warehouse.

Appreciated the Friendlys discussion. In 80's NJ Friendlys always the "after the game" "after the play" or "after the dance" spot. It is also where the food dare was invented. The type of dares where your friends challenge you to drink a cocktail of condiments.

The Power of The Best Show?

Just one day later, and Friendly's has to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

I'm loving the drama on Twitter. Wally Wackiman just called AP Mike a "dink."

I haven't seen this much pathos in a puppet since Beaker on the Muppets.  Talk about a puppet that never got a break.

Best:
1. El Hijo de Jason saying "Hello Tom" exactly like his pops
2. Tom to LDP: "Is Truth or Dare just 'Truth Or' to you?"
3. The sheer amount of stuff packed into that Wurster call--Paisley underground tough guys, Power Pop Pop-Pop and "Archie Bunker's Place" callbacks, Newt Gingrich cassingles, "Three Inches of Power", it just went on and on.

Worst:
Wally's call. I'm a big Wally fan (Wackifan?) so it pained me to hear him in this aggrieved state of mind. Please, bring back the cheerful puppet we all know and--whether some of us admit it or not--love.

I wouldn't reset the ban over this, though. It was too compelling.
