1. I hope Tom's back continues to get better. I actually got thrown off my Best Show listening schedule by back surgery- so I totally understand how back pain makes everything a little bit worse.

Yeah, I felt that way about his acid reflux. I've been tremendously lucky that having that was the most uncomfortable I've ever been physically, but oh my god, when it got bad, it got bad.

I love how with every appearance, Gary the Squirrel seems to put less craft into writing his Mike jokes and more semi-hysterical urgency into just shrieking out their point. "Get it? . . . Gehhhhh-t it? . . . Yeh CHEAP, MIKE!  CHEEEEAP!!"

Sam Elliott: "How's it going Mask?"

;D

That was great.  I think the full quote is:

"Hey, 'Mask,'... ... how's it going 'Mask'?"

I just want to point out again how funny this imitation is.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I thought fondly of last week's episode when I was visiting Barnes and Noble and saw among the New Releases a book called Game of Groans. (Not by the Harvard Lampoon)

Looking at http://harvardlampoon.com/ just now, game of groans is a very appropriate phrase.

I'm still laughing at the idea of Dick Cavett coming over & spending the evening watching Mannix with Chris Elliott.
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?

Tom as  an enraged Hervé Villechaize ordering his goons to take care of some guy with the audacity to ask for a signed photo for a charity auction.

"Smash his face. Throw him in a dumpster. take Polaroids of it. And bring them to my limo."

Lots of great heave ho's, even Gary tha squirrel got one in!

speaking of which, AP Mikes impression of Gary killed me  8)

Yay:
Glad to see George started calling as George.

Nice how the show picked up steam with the blue-collar POV story about the cheapskate Trump son.

Kucinich. I don't trust the guy. Seems like a "left-wing" version of Ron Paul. No, thank you.
