I never grow tired of this. Nor do I grow tired of him sounding like Frazier when he is falling ("Oh good lord!").

A clip of a guy falling should not work on the radio, but thanks to his "Oh good lord" it's just as funny as it is seeing it.

By the way, was this week's call a record for shortest Wurster call ever?

Listening to this week's show on podcast and just got to the portion where Tom is slandering Sheetz and placing Wawa on a pedestal. My fandom for the Best Show has never been so truly tested as right now. For now, courage.
I've never been fortunate enough to visit a Wawa, but I've been to many Sheetz locations and loved every one like a brother. I felt viscerally betrayed by Tom for the first time ever despite knowing in my heart that Wawa is probably technically superior. You're not alone.

Ya'll ain't never seen the likes of a Weigel's.

The last joke he calls for an audience response - presumably a hand-picked, right-wing audience there to laugh at his jokes - and no one responds.

It *is* theoretically possible for a right-wing comedian to be funny, right?  What they don't seem to understand is that the formula that works is comedian first, advocate second.

I like how the one dude bombs so horribly with his "let's kill teenagers" joke, in all of its parts.

Ha ha!

The Last Movie is indeed terrible, a real endurance test IMO.  I think Jodorowsky suggested chopping it up into a non-linear narrative.  So Hopper took a pointless film ... and made it disorienting.   ;)

I like The American Dreamer though.  It's a documentary about Hopper's newfound fame as he edits The Last Movie at his New Mexico ranch.

Gary repeatedly saying "I'll feed you garbage" in his AP Mike voice makes me laugh every time. Same as when Tom quotes Hawkeye from the finale of M*A*S*H.: "It's a BAY-BEEEEEEEEE!"

Geez, Spike is really getting rusty. What about Kevin Costnerd? That took me like 20 seconds.

It generally takes him hours to come up with those names. You can't rush perfection. Or whatever.

Full disclosure: I actually do kind of like Kevin Costco, it's just that it doesn't make much sense.

But then, his career high watermark, Baked Ziti Jones, makes no sense whatever.
