During this week's Depravity's Rainbow, at 1:18:10, AP Mike said to Therese, about greeting potential trick-or-treaters, "I very well may have a costume--hint, hint--by that time."

On the July 16, 2013 Best Show, at 2:33:31, Tom said to AP Mike, "You can be what Captain Bayonne needs: a supervillain." And on August 6, 2013, from 43:23 to 44:00 on the wfmu.org pop‑up player, Tom alludes, "...every hero needs a villain, and the idea of Mike becoming a foil to Captain Bayonne... I've heard some rumblings. If you think you've heard this show get weird, get ready guys."

Are these statements related? We'll have to stay tuned.

I fully encourage the Room 237-Level analysis of Mike's comments on the air, in search for clues.

Anyone guessin' the big news? I feel like I can guess but I don't want to get hammered by the man if I spoil it or get it wrong!

I hope it's good news.  My only guess would be bad.

Seriously, Pablo Prigioni??!!

Tom is more like Durant (current) or Magic (retired).  Creative scorers with the skills to play any position, can score or assist and is the #1 leader.  Closest personality though may be Kobe. #VINO

The Spike call was an all-time classic! I'll be disappointed if I tune into Revolt TV and don't see Alan Colmes.

Going out on a limb here and saying the big announcement is that Tom got a job and is leaving for the Left Coast.  Either that, or something to do with the new WFMU studio/theatre.

These seem like the two most likely scenarios to me.

Probably not wise to speculate though.

Or maybe Tom has decided to run for Congress.

My guess is the former. Good for him but sad for us (if that's what it is!)

Any time Tom sings that System of a Down song.

I think maybe "Going to California" wasn't coincidence.

Yes, it's the song from the Entourage finale. It's obvious (from the Doug Ellin retweets) that Tom got a job working on the Entourage movie (likely from the outline he presented on the February 5, 2013 episode) and will have to take some time off from doing the Best Show.

How about Steve Nash? Also known as the dude who was a guard for Arizona forever?
