Oh, that's a good one. I wish someone would've thought of it during the show. I actually don't know much about the guy so I don't know for sure that he's a jerk, but his literary output would seem to indicate so.

From what I've heard from a friend who went to one of his readings, he's a nice, friendly guy. You're right about his writing making him seem like a jerk though.

Chuck Pahlanukanukaluau seems like a good guy.  He's livin' the dream.  There are a lot of tools that worship _Fight Club_, but he's written many a good book.  I read _Survivor_ recently, tho' it's decidedly pre-2001, it's good.
