Short of a love scene (they were pushing for a Hard R) between Domingo and Piper Perabo, there's no way. That said, I wonder if I could sneak a double feature after 'Blindness'?

Samir, I thought you were the resident FOT bad movie lover? Skip Blindness. We need reviews of An American Carol & Chihuahua ASAP.

I keep pulling up metacritic waiting to read a review of An American Carol.

When I went to go see Burn After Reading a few weeks back, the order of trailers went like this:

1. An American Carol
2. Beverly Hills Chihuahua
3.  W.

By the time the Coen brothers' signature tracking shot kicked in, I was convinced someone had spiked my sodey-pop with 'cid.  I'd say it was Roy Jr., but it wasn't at the Philly-centric Cinema.

I've been put off Blindness by the universally terrible reviews.
And, some of the streaming sites that I frequent already have cam-rips of Bev Hills Chihuahua.
But I'm not that desperate.

Spoony, they're also the person everyone goes to for their candy fix.  they keep candy in fifty strategically placed jars inside their office and right outside their door.  co-workers stop by to say hi, but only so they dont look like a greedy jerk who's only in the area for the sugar high.

When you say "candy," you're talking about the candy for the nose, right?
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I  have to say that September has been the worst month this year. Every movie I was remotely interested (that wasn't a small indie movie like Ballast) got mediocre/mixed reviews. Miracle at St. Anna, Blindness, Burn After Reading, etc. At least October has Rachel Getting Married, Body of Lies, Changeling, and Synecdoche, New York.

im looking forward to enjoying it visually, if anything.  Fernando Meirelles is really good with saturation and tells a good story.  i imagine it moving very slowly though, as his past films tend to do so, and that may be why the critics don't like it.

or julianne moore.

I'd say you all have some crow to eat! #1 at the box office this weekend! I view this as empirical evidence that Beverly Hills Chihuahua is the best movie out right now.

I have been working on Blindness for the last year and a half.
I can't believe we got shellac'd by Beverly Hills Chiahuahua.
A poor man's Bronson Pinchot.
