I unironically love Appetite for Destruction to this day, I think Lies is pretty good, and I think there are good moments among the bilge on the Use Your Illusions. Having said that, the fact that the few things that've come out under the GN'R banner since then have been truly heinous, combined with the fact that it's been 17 years and a GBV-esque number of former band members, and also considering that Axl has never been responsible for the best GN'R songs (but was usually responsible for the really bad ones), I can't see this being anything other than fetid trash.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I can see late 30's/early 40's buttmetal heads liking this, or parts of it (Better, for example). I have some of them in my family, I will keep tabs in the next few weeks to see what they think.

Man oh man though, I was never into metal or rock really at all, but I remember liking Use Your Illusion some in HS, but this is just bad. Like some kind of cover band at a dive bar bad. Street of Dreams I like though, that's the one that's a duet with Rowlf, right?

Wowzers.

Man, it really is pretty awful, even for "buttmetal." I hope Tommy Stinson is making some bank off this crud.

They're just warming up for the legal proceedings when they get sued by him for being a bunch of meanie-heads.

Oddly enough, "Rose" actually is his real surname.

NY Times uses that title for everyone as policy.   Except for Jonathan Safran Foer, who they refer to as "Herr Dickwipe."

Cool!  That's the day after my birthday so now I'll have something special to do.

I wonder if Kevin Shields is monitoring the reaction from this and having second thoughts.

Even Osama Bin Laden reecives the 'Mr.' honorific in the Times. There is nothing you can do to keep them from paying you that courtesy.
