AND Minutemen drummer George Hurley

does your dog have awesome hair?

I wouldn't say it is awesome in the George Hurley vein but it is quite nice thanks to the frequent bathing he gets from the wife.

Ive never seen . . . any of the Rocky movies.

Well, then, set aside New Year's Day:  Rockys 1-5 will air on AMC starting at 3 p.m.

I love Lost. Me and afk never miss it. And I refuse to be cowed by your insistence that my taste doesn't match yours. Screw yourself.

PS, I like Rush, too.

My old roommate had The Godfather trilogy and, fully aware that these are some of the best American movies ever made, I resested ever sitting down to even start them.
I don't know if this counts in this thread, but I've tried to read several different Richard Price novels and I can't get very far into them even though I totally appreciate his style and subject and everything. Lush Life taunts me everytime I pass it now.

I thought this was supposed to about stuff we're sure is great, but won't watch/listen to, not stuff we watched/listened to and didn't like.

My pick: Lawrence of Arabia.  I've heard a lot of praise for it over the years, but I can't.  Not even sure why.

yes! This is so true! I know in theory I would like lawrence of arabia, but I just can't sit down and watch it. I've justified it by spouting what others have said about it only being possible to watch it on the big screen.
hey what's up

I've never seen Lost and somehow I've managed to avoid any kind of spoilers, so I'm looking forward to catching up with it.  Basically all I know is some character names on an island.  and something about a smoke monster.  I figure I'll just wait until it's over in a few years and watch all the seasons in a row.  I'm a sucker when it comes to serialized TV.

My biggest is probably Deadwood.  Love westerns, know a lot of people who love it, never saw a single episode.  I picked up the complete series last week but I have no idea when I'll get around to watching it.

Have you heard Jon Stewart's joke about how the best way to see Lawrence of Arabia is on an iPod.
