Good God, Emma, I am smitten, and that's illegal in every US state except Arkansas!

Don't lay this at our door, friend. You're the one being a prevert here.
It ain't ego, it's my love for you.

We were filming in this outrageous apartment* in Stockholm last weekend. This is me trying to look like a therapist, during set-up.

*) Seriously, the biggest and most awesome thing I've ever seen, the home of an eccentric millionaire who happily turned the keys over to us. He greeted us dressed in a Kimono-style robe. Place was two floors, 3500 square ft. Boy toys playing backgammon in one room, wild boar fetishes in another, copy of Gummo next to the DVD player, we had to remove stuff and dress it down it looked so overloaded with furniture, statues, books, crazy shit.

You're all very sweet! Except for Dave who I am going to have arrested for his fiftieth birthday.
Tito, I'm taking a billion photos a day. I'm going to put them up on my flickr when I get back to toronto!

Also Joanna, thank you for reminding me. I almost forgot about it, despite the fact that I had it written in giant block letters on BOTH SIDES OF MY HAND. Because I am really really smart.

Incidentally, what was the lit mag?
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

i especially enjoy the shelf with the bottle of maker's mark, bacardi, and what looks to be some type of irish whiskey behind youse two.

it's monopolova vodka.

it occurred to me the other day that when the baby starts crawling, we need to move the liquor. which is a shame because that's the perfect location!

when our little bundle of smells went mobile, everything valued or harmful got moved "to the top shelf," as they say. everything is so out of reach in our pad these days, it looks we're expecting noah's ark to come sailing by any minute.

cute kid you got there though, best of luck.

amen to that. smarter too, i believe.

my daughter runs around in circles on tuesdays at 8 screaming "best show! best show!" as the opening theme plays. it's not as fun/funny as when she says "soylent green is people!" in her monster voice, but it is one of the highlights of my week nonetheless.

i know parents are always excited about their child's first steps, first tooth, first date, wedding, etc. - but i can't wait until she gets her 1st gomp.

Nothing got me more excited yet than the first crap in the turlet.

BTW -- Sharp looking kid, Andrew.  (I like your calls, too.)

Not a great photo, but the only one I had on hand that is moderately flattering. I think I have a bemused expression on my face because I'm watching an adorable tot open a Christmas gift.

This is kinda old but it's all I've got because I really dislike being photographed and avoid it whenever I can. I pretty much look the same now as in the picture, though. Also included is my infinitely more attractive better half.

your glasses say this looks very 1990s.  in a good way.

Not quite that old. The picture is from 2001 or 2002, I think. I may've gotten the glasses at the end of the 90s, though it's not inconceivable that I was wearing out-of-date glasses. I can't keep up with these kids and their fashion trends.

I was wearing a cast on my broken ankle (2 hairline fractures) for 5 weeks now.  It was removed on Monday.  And this is what I look like without the cast with the bone healed.
