You gotta justify classifying Bill Murray as a jerk. Every story I've ever heard about him has been that he's a super-cool and nice dude. The only time it sounds like he was acting jerky was that fight with Chevy Chase but it sounded like Chase started that one.
yea, i don't know, i've heard some stories. here's one: my friend used to tutor in upsate new york. he was driving out to the boonies to tutor this kid and got lost. as he's driving around looking for their house a car drives by in the other direction. bill murray is driving. my friend thinks, oh, that's cool and keeps looking for the place he's going. Next thing he knows Bill Murray aggressively pulls up beside him and starts screaming at him. He has apparently jumped to the conclusion that my friend was looking for
his house.
There's also the caller who told the story about Mr. M calling his brother (?) an asshole. Twice. But maybe he was an asshole.
Personally, I've seen Sir Bill suffer an especially foolish crowd at a Q&A following Broken Flowers quite graciously. So this is how I repay him.
