My World Is Expanding (a post on Seven Second Delay)

Because of this show and the FOT's, I'm now a hardcore fan of Seven Second Delay (SSD).

(I'm sure all of you know this but just case there is someone who doesn't know:)

If you are at all interested in SSD, read about Ken (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Freedman and the contributions he's made to radio and the web. Pretty epic. Especially for how laid back he is on the show.

And then there's Andy. Read about him, too(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Breckman). His contributions to folklore and television are also impressive. Not to mention his tie-in w/ Kid Jersey.

So much WFMU and Internet radio history on this show.

Well, I'm in good company if they hate on Ken as much as they presumably hate on me. I wouldn't even know where to find it to confirm my suspicions, and I don't care to find out how.

Once you're familiar with the Ken & Andy / SSD dynamic, there's nothing funnier than all the Trainwreck episodes. I'd say they're not for SSD beginners, but once you're in that universe, they're amazing. Just go to the archive and search for "trainwreck". There's a whole bunch of them.

Also, one of my favorites is the one where Ken and Andy goes through the radio dial and reads back what is being said on other radio stations... kind of difficult to explain but it's amazing. Think it's this one:

That was definitely amazing. And I second Stay on the Phone in Ten Words or Less as my possible favorite of all time- if the archive link is indeed gone, I'm pretty sure I have it somewhere if anyone wants.
