I suffered a crippling blow to my santaing today, CRIPPLING. I was reading around the boards for something, and ran across that my Santee had already acquired that which I was going to procure. When I say what it was in a few weeks, you're all going to feel my pain too. We're not talking an electric teethbrush or nuttin folks, I just got royally screwed is what happened. Sure, I'm glad that person has the thing I was going to give them, no matter the means, but man it would have been PERFECT.

Back to the drawing board. GAH!

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of calling and visiting stores to get my SS the right gift.  This person makes me want to be a cooler person so that I wouldn't be having such a hard time making a decision.

Here's a silly question:

What is the etiquette for these gifts? 

Do you say who you are and things or is it ALL secret and you just say it's from an FOT or whatever?

I think it would be a bummer to receive a gift and NOT find out who it was. The whole point of this is the surprise, right?


I am finished with my FOT gift and plan to package it and send it out next week! Gah I'm so excited. It's a nice mixture of silly and practical.

Having said that, I realized as soon as I'd sealed the box up that I'd failed to reveal myself, so I wrote my username by my return address. Hopefully the recipient notices.
