I forgot the name but the guy from work who accidentally calls Tom three times.

Ron Templeton.  November 12, 2002: Tom's Angry Co-Worker Ron Templeton Mistakenly Calls Him Three Times. Also, The Callers Speak Out About The Worst Band Of All Time.

It was also the Gems episode of December 14, 2009 - for easy access.

Petey calling in and laughing all taunting like Scott Farkus on the first episode of 2008

Little known fact: the character's name was "Scut Farkus."  You can hear the pronunciation in the movie if you listen for it.

Impress your friends.  If you still have any, assuming you are the type of person who would tell them something like this.

Hey!  I think that guy was making fun of me.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Don't recall the date, but the PFT -Philly Boy Roy rendition of "Knockin' Boots Now" set to the Rocky theme was one for the ages.

Pretty sure that's 4/22/08.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

IMDB says you're right. What the crap is a "Scut" though?

A funnier name than "Scott."

Tom's 09-11-01 cheesecake story is something special. (The 09-18 episode.)

(I was too young to understand that whole mess when it was going down so it was more of a weird day at school than anything else. Listening to that episode nowadays offers some healthy perspective.)

The archived and consumable bits of pop culture from that tiny window of time are either when it was happening or the awful can-we-be-funny television intros from at least two weeks after the 11th.

It's not a "favorite" moment but it's one of the most legitimate/human recorded reactions I've encountered.

If you haven't heard it, go back to the archives and listen to the first post-9/11 Best Show (9/18/01). It's not one of the funniest but it's one of the best.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

of the decade

Calls from Mr. T
The Officer Tom / Purple Shirt feud
The calls from Goshem
Stevie Blue
Petey
No Smokin' Joe
MC Steinberg's raps
stories from New Bridge
"That Guy" getting dog food licked off his face

All funnier than anything happening recently.
