I don't mind Tebow, the guys getting his fame out of the way now, because once he goes to the NFL it's all done for him. That's why I don't think he'll be remembered as a college legend. Unless he can surprise people at the NFL level he's going to take the path of Danny Wuerfell where people remember him as the guy who couldn't translate his game to the NFL rather than a great college QB. Can you name a guy that didn't become an NFL great that is still talked about to this day? The only guy I can think of is Flutie, but that's more for his one great play than his college career. He had a great career but I think different circumstances kept his name floating around.
I don't know, I could be wrong. I guess if he stays, wins another championship and a Heisman, it might not matter if he's a bust in the NFL.
