I don't mind Tebow, the guys getting his fame out of the way now, because once he goes to the NFL it's all done for him. That's why I don't think he'll be remembered as a college legend. Unless he can surprise people at the NFL level he's going to take the path of Danny Wuerfell where people remember him as the guy who couldn't translate his game to the NFL rather than a great college QB. Can you name a guy that didn't become an NFL great that is still talked about to this day? The only guy I can think of is Flutie, but that's more for his one great play than his college career. He had a great career but I think different circumstances kept his name floating around.

I don't know, I could be wrong. I guess if he stays, wins another championship and a Heisman, it might not matter if he's a bust in the NFL.

Same, the Ravens and Eagles weren't total surprises but I really thought Carolina would blow out Arizona.

On another note, I'm still not sure how to feel about another year of Tebow.

Haven't read any page in this thread besides the most recent, so I'm not sure if you guys talked about it, but it's pretty embarrassing for my school, UVA, to have lost to a (pretty good, but still) Division 1-AA team, William & Mary.

How often does this happen? The only time I can recall off the top of my head is Michigan losing to Appalachian State.
