I'm actually mad that, since MySpace changed their "look", I can't access it when I need to. I only have shows to confirm, not "people" to "meet". The fact that I'm mad at MySpace because I can't access it is horribly embarrassing. Ugh.

I love this song, and will always love this song. And I don't love it in some tongue-in-cheek way either.

When I hear it, I am five-years-old again, and considering the finite nature of existence for the first time.

I had a habit of storing half eaten food in random places.

Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

second embarrassing confession in one day.  i used to like this song and this video back in 1987:

i thought the use of the phrase "Let's Go All the Way" in the context of nuclear war was deep.

i was at karaoke on wednesday and sang Belinda Carlisle's "Heave Is A Place On Earth", Journey's "Faithfully" and "Don't Stop Believin'", and Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls".

however, to save face, i did not pick any of these songs.  but i sang them.

As the Buddhists say, a guilty pleasure is neither. I listen to, and obsessively deconstruct, R. Kelly's Double Up. I'm also an Afghan Whigs fan. And I sometimes make up movies and ask people if they've seen them.

One of my friends used to write for The L Word, and even she seems kind of embarassed about it. I'll let her know that she touched people's lives.

my brother's a fan and he's not ashamed.  he's hopelessly trying to convert me; im whatever about it.

although now, i'll let him know i kinda, sort of, not really, "know" an acquaintance/complete stranger who is friends with someone who used to write for the show.  he'll be ecstatic, im sure.

Why is this embarrassing? Gentlemen and Congregation are fantastic albums.

Really? I listened to Gentlemen a little while ago, and felt very embarrassed.

Embarrassed for not liking it? Actually I haven't listened to it in a while, but I'm pretty sure I'd still like it.

Embarrassed for Greg Dulli and the rest of them. Embarrassed for having liked it back in the day.

The music was rockin' enough but that pathetic male angst. I'll take Bright Eyes over that any day.

I suppose that's a valid point. But Bright Eyes? No thanks.
