My actual biological father (who I met at age 24) is only a little less embarrassing than Ron Jeremy:
The real story, which I've probably told here before (Josh?): my stepdad's crazy twin sister (aka my aunt) was dating Ron from like 1979-81, after he had started his porn career but before he was really famous. There were many weird conversations about this that I was shut out of, but only partially.
A few years after this, I was with a bunch of other 15-year-old boys, one of whom had raided his dad's porn collection, and lo and behold, Ron comes onscreen and we all have the same reaction that everyone does when they first see him in flagrante delicto, and I'm sitting there thinking, "this guy is a friend of the family or something." I have the good sense to keep my mouth shut, lest this follow me through the rest of high school, plus I wasn't entirely sure. Then about 5 years ago, now that Uncle Ron is a "legitimate" celeb and my siblings are all pretty much grown, my mom tells us all the story, finally confirming it.
