I'll bet I'm the only one who has to light their stove and oven with a lighter.  Oh, this primitive apartment...  Thank gyod there's no orange crates up in here. 

my old stove's pilot light never worked... so i used to do the same thing.  but instead of a lighter i used a welder's torch striker, a little safer but not by much.

i broke a piece of the berlin wall.

this happened in third grade.  a classmate brought a chunk of the berlin wall for show and tell.  it was being passed around the room.  when it was handed to me somebody whispered "try and break it".  it was concrete, in my third grade mind that meant that it was indestructible.  it wasn't.  i snapped it in two and then handed the two pieces to the next kid.  he got in trouble.

I had a friend book me for a DJ gig in Italy without telling me.  I am not a DJ at all, and have never wanted to be one.    So I mostly played Rephlex-style electronic music and American hip-hop of the day from my iBook, and they loved it.
