A flawless album.

A perfect album.  Absolutely perfect from top to bottom.

I'd say this record had more impact on me than nearly any other album I've ever heard.  Maybe Firewater by SKWM, or On the Beach come close.
Well it's been a long time since I've had my favorite drink

Not too shabby!
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

That album is the best album I've heard in quite some time.

I'm preparing a lesson in bed music for the radio play class - they're supposed to bring in their worst pieces of writing, read it, then read it again with bed music under it.  Right now, the track is Steve Reich's "Drumming (Part II)."

Even though I seem to be meeting more and more people who are into Galaxie 500, they still feel way under appreciated to me.

All their songs sound the same to me.

I kind of like the song they all sound like, but I can't listen to a whole album of it.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I had a Galaxie 500 DVD, and those guys are about the alternative-est looking guys ever.

I've always liked the lyrics to Strange:

I went alone down to the drugstore
I went in back and took a Coke
I stood in line and ate my Twinkies
I stood in line, I had to wait

Grote, that's the an interesting class idea, but I think you're going to ruin This American Life for some of your pupils. For shame.

edit: "The an interesting" is NOT a typo, it's art

Too late!

And, Killah Priest, "Fake MCs," shuffling on the Zune.

I had to work late last night, was listening to a recent FMU archived playlist, and came across a new song by Mos Def - "Quiet Dog Bite Hard."  I think I ended up listening to it 30 times in a row. Wow, that song is amazing.

I like the Twinkies lyrics, also the 'my toes can talk' song.

My brother, who is a huge fan of hip-hop, turned me onto this one.
