No premium for me yet, sigh.  Though I haven't been at the station in a few weeks, maybe it's sitting there waiting for me.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

After a couple of spins of the premium, I have to say Ted Leo wins.

The S&W premium disc is great, too. The Todd Palin book proposal is genius.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I'm particularly fond of Aimee Mann's 'Too Many People', myself.

Agreed. Whenever I'm listening to the album, that one gets replayed at least twice.

Good one.

That's a sweet little record. Mr. Jay does not ask for much, and he tends to deliver on each track.

Decemberists - Hazards of Love. It's OK. I recently saw a video of them performing, and I know that Colin Melloy is refined and all, but extending your pinky while strumming the guitar like Ms Marple drinking from her afternoon teacup pushes it a little too close to the line for me.

I hope I don't break any rules for self promotion, but I'm on Twitter and Tom and Ted's war over followers has me paranoid about my tiny place in the world. So, if you don't follow me, here's what I need for you to do.

1) Join Twitter

2) Follow davefromknoxvil

3) Click on my "favorites" to see music-related posts

I am currently posting a CD recommendation every day; it's called the Hipster's Wishlist: 200 best recordings of the new millenium. I post the name, a link to a sampler at Amazon, and a micro-description of what the music sounds like. If you click on the sampler you can hear "What I a listening to every morning" as I prepare the post, thus, the relevance to this thread.

Thanks! Oh, and at the moment, Mom's (mfk) over visiting, so I am listening to some soap opera playing in the background.

I'll follow you if you follow me (AuntieChristina)! I don't tweet much b/c I don't really have any followers. I'm just following a bunch of people and reading Tom's book.
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?
