I love that the impressions on Comedy Death Ray work whether or not you even know the original. I haven't seen 'the King's Speech', and aside from seeing him once or twice on the TV as a kid 30 years ago, I know very little about the real Gary Marshall.

Today I listened to the Violent Femmes debut album 3 or 4 times. And I enjoyed it.

I have that album on CD imported on my computer. Is it just my copy or is it really low volume-wise? I usually turn up the volume and then when that album is over and something else comes on, I nearly jump out of my seat.

Their first two records with Brian Eno are tremendous. The subsequent albums, like Country Life and Siren, are slightly less tremendous, but still great.

Actually, I think Country Life might be my favorite album of theirs.
