Sound of Young America interview with Prodigy from Mobb Deep.  Dude's had a life.

Jesse Thorn is seriously one of the best interviewers in the business without a doubt.

Agreed, and this was a high point among many. I want to read the guy's book.

My favorite Ramones album, in honor of Joey Ramone's birthday.

David Comes to Life on repeat. Matador's "Buy Early Get Now" extras are killer.

This is really great. Somewhere between the Michael Nesmith stuff and Townes Van Zandt with a touch of New Skin For The Old Ceremony heartbreak (at least on track 1).  Plus the dl I procured is a warm lp rip with lots of little pops and crackles.

I've seen this.

Pretty country?

Is Link to be found anywhere around?

"Yeah (Crass Version)" by LCD Soundsystem.  I think this dude is a genius.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Link does play on it. Here's some good info on it:

Apparently it's been re-issued by a tiny Nashville label, but when I go to their site (linked in the AD article), I don't see any way to add it to my cart.  There's also a pretty countrypolitan vibe to some of it.

New Black Lips record is pretty fun. Better than their last record. Probably could have been four or five songs shorter.

Stuff like this almost  makes you angry that you've gone through this much of your life without hearing it.

Thank you. Prodigy is an incredible dude.

Right now I'm listening to "Fuck 'Em" from the new E-40 album. In fact, that record's barely left my car CD player in the last month. Slaps back to front.
