It seemed to me that the audience wasn't the only people who weren't expecting the slide whistle.  Past interviews mention that Tom and the, uh, Newbridge-related callers will often try to surprise each other - this sounded to me like one of those times.  I hope so.

I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

What was the first episode where a Newbridgian mentions the last episode of All in the Family?

Anybody?

November 9th, 2010 is the first mention of the final episode of "Archie Bunker's Place."  Is that what you're thinking of?  I don't recall talk of the final All In The Family.

That call also has what I'm currently using as my phone ringer "Flames, extinguish yourselves!" "What're you doing?" "I'm trying to get the flames to extinguish themselves, it's not working, amazingly."
If you're not a job creator, you better step the fuck away from that hot dog machine.

Yup, that's what I mean. Thanks so much!

Who knows what's really going on inside the mind of a squirrel?

They're very high strung.

Can't wait for Gary and Wally to square off against one another.

Hey Wally, did you hear about how you threw a clock out the window? You know why you did that, Wally? You wanted to see time fly!

What was the Band/Song that was played after the the song played after Led Zeppelin's "the Song Remains the Same" on last night's (2/14) show? I tried to put the lyrics into google and I got back "10 Craziest Glen Beck Quotes of All Time", then I tried the lyrics and the word "best show" and it came back with Mithamine... Please tell me this is not Mithamine...
...Or Glen Beck.

cheers!

The song after Zeppelin was Thee Oh Sees' "I Was Denied".
The song after THAT was "Get Along" by Mikal Cronin

Also, Tom referring to his family as a "dumb fest" made me LOL

I can't wait for a chance for Wally to meet Gary and Vance.  Hey, that rhymed!  Seriously, though, I hope it's not "squaring off" situation.  There's been too much of that, and Wally is eager for a chance to make friends with more of his own kind.

Y'allbegone Pond was hilarious.

Finally heard this yesterday and wanted to add my voice to the praise - this was really well done and I'd love to hear more episodes! Great job Jason!

I don't know if Gary is of Wally's kind. He doesn't seem to self-identify as a puppet much.

Btw, does anyone have any video of Gary?

"Spice fun"

Watching Gary train to "bop mike on the nose" using his nut as a speedbag or Vance hijacking the mic to plug a Genesis cover bands show in England

The entire show was way to fun for a pledge drive, in fact I was planning to pledge next week but I got so fired up I couldn't wait!

I liked Ted's new song, which is NOT entitled "The Gambler 2.0"
"He didn't sound like a human when I was talking to him ... he sounded like a shape ... what's that shape of that building ... you know, where the Army lives?" -- Bryce, 11/24/2009
