Just getting to the third hour.  Black Beauties are speed not 'ludes.  That may explain the gentleman's agitation.

FYI: The term "black beauty" was also extended to include Biphetamine-T, which was a ridiculously abusable mixture of the aforementioned amphetamines, plus methaqualone (aka Quaalude). Both Biphetamine mixtures were available in 12.5mg and 20mg tablets.

That is quite interesting, Michael.  The only 'ludes I ever saw were tablets not capsules.  I wonder what Biphetamine-T was perscribed for, social inhibition?
Regardless, congrats on your best show, so far.

I was simply stating that the Black Beauties I saw were capsules and the 'ludes were tablets.

I was bluffing.  You guys have approximately a half-generation on me.  By the time I got there, I only had a choice between Nancy Reagan's Just Say No and cocaine (I believe some people call it "the White Lady" or "very expensive ski trips").  There weren't any "hey, this is fun" substances left.

Oh, yeah, and HIV/AIDS took care of free love just as I came of age, and they raised the drinking age shortly before I started high school.
