I've noticed that Tom has become merciless on the Bad Companying - it used to be that a caller could fight it off by getting more interesting, but I think that era is over.

I would have liked to hear the rest of "Gas Hands'" story, but I respect his choices.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

It was worth missing the rest of the story, just to hear the opening strains of Bad Company clashing with "It Don't Worry Me." Possibly my new favorite Best Show moment.

I loved the Nashville clip, best ending to a show thus far in the new era.

Listening through this week's episode now. I'm actually really enjoying Jonah Ray's banter with Tom, it's a nice combo
Everyone's talking about that computer fight.

I found it both oddly tense and intimate for the Best Show. Not to say it wasn't compelling and funny, but had more of a Marc Maronish tone than Tom usually cultivates.

Never heard Jonah Ray before. He was okay, not as bad as I thought a lot of people make him out to be. Though the Hawaiian voice made me a little uncomfortable, as well as the "Y'all makin' a movie? Put me in it" voice earlier in the episode. Tom didn't call him out that one.

Haven't listened yet, but now I'm hoping that Tom asks Jonah about his older brother's record collection.

Gary the Squirrel was on fire this week, so many laughs in such a short space of time.

Also putting jonah in time out was very funny.

Totally agree! I was afraid that in the new non-FCC era, the penalty box rule wouldn't be enforced. It was hilarious and Jonah handled it well.

Holden seems okay to me.

Please give me a couple of reasons why your holding the opinion that he's a jerk?

I'm open to being persuaded.

I have no problem personally with Holden, but the phone connection this week was really rough, and his dad having him call in two weeks in a row is too much.

I was just kidding around (sort of)...it's really the Dad that gets my goat. As erg79 said, two shows in a row is too much. Can't Mike screen him next time or better yet, get the Dad on the phone with Tom!

I will speak to Holden's dad the next time Holden calls.
See God, Kai
