I really wish I had been listening during the cake v. pie thing, because I have very strong opinions.

Opinions shmoshminions, Julie.  Pie is the best, and that's a fact.  There's no other way to look at it.

In general, pie is better. So long as the crust is acceptable, you can hardly make a bad pie. However, a piece of good cake is better than the best pie. I would weigh 1,000 pounds instead of 500 pounds if good cake weren't so rare. If you say pie is best, then you might as well say Master of Pleasure by Jessica Trapp is just as satifying as Jane Eyre. Cake is the supreme winner. It's too bad I couldn't have said so when I should have said so.

What are you, running for office?  Cake is the winner but pie is better?  Get those 500 lbs off the fence.

I think what Julie is saying is that if the 10 greatest piemakers in all the world got together to make a pie, the best they could do would be to make a really good pie.

The 10 greatest bakers of cakes, however, would never be allowed to come together, both for fear of what they might create and because the risk of losing all ten of them in some accident or attack is too great. These ten men and women will only meet in the military bunker below Heart Mountain in Wyoming after the missiles have launched.
This may be the year I will disappear.

I can agree with that.

But bad cake is so much worse (and more prevalent) than bad pie.

What we can say conclusively though is that cake-likers have higher IQ's than pie-lovers.

Let's look at the facts:

1) I have a large ass
2) I am HIGHLY intelligent (as I'm so sure I've made everyone here aware of...)
3) I prefer pie to cake

Eric = FAIL

Pie for the win.

Ok cake lovers, but what do have to say about your little drug addicted, runaway, black sheep of the family Funnel Cake?

(Image would go here, but I'm at work and don't have the time.)

And I'm rail thin and scored WELL OVER 1050 on my SAT's

cake is retarded.
Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

If you say pie is better than cake because bad cake is more common than bad pie, then greeting cards are better than art and a sweater from target is better than a hand knit sweater.

argue with this logic:
I like pie better than I like cake.

I thought it was over the top that no one would take it seriously, but I guess not.
