I'm near 40 and thus stuck with the spare tire 4 life. I still run, mainly for the endorphins and general feeling of profound well-being, until the following day when I come down. It's like that 'Sorted For E's and Whizz' song.

I think I first noticed my mood disorder when I stopped running. There is nothing so wonderful as runner's high.

how you feel is what's important anyway. often, looking better is a by-product. i'm all about the inside out approach.

Yeh. Even when I was in my 20s, I'd get people heckling me: 'why are you running, you're skinny already?'

Some people just don't get it. Between the general good feeling and meeting and hanging out w/ ppl in running clubs and the storming the Bastilles sensation of the start of a huge marathon and whatever, losing weight was always the last of my concerns. Until recently.

Also I do listen to TBSOWFMU at the fitness center at work, thus am often laughing maniacally whilst the vice president of this or that is doing some dead serious lifting or ellipticizing nearby.

Hey, at least I'm enjoying myself.

Hugman, what did the Dr. say?

(I hope he didn't tell you stop thrashing; your skateboarding interest has me thinking about casually checking out the skatepark here and getting back on the old Powell Peralta).

I had an Eddie Reategui.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

not broken. got some vicodin. gonna try to watch baseball on vicodin.  I've been told about a hundred times in the last 24 hours that I'm too old to be skateboarding.  might have to focus my board-related activities to surfing.  I dunno.

The people for whom I am catsitting have a wii fit and I think I am in love with it.

It draws you in with its charms and then it hurts you, though! It said my "body age" is 22. So now of course I am a slave to the thing.

I'm up to 40 minutes of jogging on my treadmill. I'm going to wait till I'm comfortable at this duration of a jog before heading outside because I don't want to be stuck in the middle of a run, miles from home, and then endure a walk of shame home because I felt too tired. So far so good though!

I've been neglecting my fatness because it is taking too much time to join this YMCA, but I believe it will be coming through at the beginning of this week. Whenever it does, I'll be spending money I don't have which will initially force me to go, then hopefully things will become habit from there. As of now, because of this fake leeway, I've slacked on everything else including eating pie and pizza.

did you apply for financial aid at your Y?  At the hollywood Y, they cut fees based on your income.  Back before I was making millions of dollars on commercials I went through this process and was only paying about $15 a month.

Come on, pal! No slacking. Your fatness wants to be not fatness. Don't let it down.
