That sounds like the monkey diet, which I advocate and helped invent. The monkey diet is much better than your carb free thing, yesno, because you only eat fruit. NO VEGETABLES and no nuts! There's nothing to think about. Hungry? Eat some fruit. Still hungry? Eat some more fruit.

I've never been able to stick to it for very long, but it sounds like you might have what it takes. Would you give it a try and let me know?

I like vegetables too much, Julie. My lunch is designed to ensure I eat 6 or 7 servings of fruit and veg at lunch so I can eat yummy food for dinner.

Breakfast is nothing or protein, which sucks as I love bagels.

yesno, monkeys always eat breakfast! It's what they do. Would you try the modified monkey diet, which includes fruit and vegetables?

Do monkeys eat ravioli and lentil soup for dinner? And cake?

The great thing about the monkey diet is that you can be a garbage monkey at dinner. Of course monkeys eat cake! I don't know about lentils, though. Also, monkeys smoke and drink Schlitz.

Breakfast is nothing or protein, which sucks as I love bagels.

Then have one every once and a while. It works! And you should definitely eat breakfast, it helps your metabolism.

I know that breakfast is good for you.

I have an addictive personality, so I don't believe moderation works for me. I can't break the seal. It's all or nothing.

From the moment I heard about it, I had no doubt of its inventor.

I bought one of these dealies: http://www.amazon.com/Presto-04821-Orville-Redenbacher-Popper/dp/B00006IUWB/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1244839824&sr=8-11

Air-popped popped corn is significantly less calories and sodium (obviously). It's a low fat snack that's filling, high in dietary fiber, and a decent amount of protean.
