Bread "I'd Like to Make it With You".

13 was "Every Breath You Take"
30 was "Incomplete" by Sisqo. I had to go listen to this on the crazy iTunes because I had no idea what it was. And after listening to a sample, I still don't.

Born: Phil Collins - "Another Day In Paradise"
13th: Eminem - "Lose Yourself"

Ha, I did listen to Eminem when I was 13. Yikes. And I do love me some Phil Collins.

Geez, it feels like it was only last year that Eminem song was out.

I AM old.

For me: 30: I knew I loved you by Savage Garden.

I know absolutely nothing about that song.

Actually the most recent song on that list I can remember is 1998 ('My Heart Will Go On')

13th birthday:

"Kiss on My List", by John Oates (and his sidekick, Daryl Hall).

21st birthday:

"She Drives me Crazy", Fine Young Cannibals. I actually had a cassette tape of FYC's debut album, which was kinda retro and had no electronic instrumentation. All that changed by the time "She Drives me Crazy" was released.

Boy, am I glad I wasn't born a year earlier:  my thirteenth-birthday song would have been the Archies' "Sugar, Sugar," a song that has made my skin crawl since the moment I first heard it.

I unironically love that song.

I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston...

Wasn't this number one for like 2 or 3 decades? Maybe that's what it felt like.

Same as Every Breath You Take, which was number one when I turned 13. Shit, I liked the Police then & that song made me sick.

That video with the dude playing drums on the ashtray was pretty arty though, you must admit.
