I seem to remember Tom not being happy when WFMU changed the schedule to 9-12 from 8-11 pm, so maybe he will want to do the new show earlier?
I know, I wasn't happy when they switched to 9 P.M..

I, too, prefer an 8-11 Best Show, but so it goes.

An 8-11 Best Show is one of the perks of living in the Central Time Zone.

I may have to consider moving!

To be really different, you could come here to Arizona, where the show was on 7-10 pm, except when everyone else is on daylight savings time when it moves to 6-9 pm like the west coast.

Tom called into my radio show today. TRAMPLED UNDER FOOT WITH NATHAN THOMAS.

I really liked your interview, good job!

Thanks! Tom was like the good Best Show Tom we know and love. On my show, and all others he's done.

Think I seriously consider Tom's visit to this week's The Chris Gethard Show as his best The Best Show promotional appearance so far.

I love it. I also love Lance Bangs back there sporting a Foxcatcher sweatshirt

He did this a few weeks ago, too: http://youtu.be/Ykreu72zNsQ

Frrrrriiiixxxx, you can stay in Florida, but you have to move up to the western panhandle.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

His look at Gethard at the 10-minute mark is tremendous.

He's wearing a Galco's Soda Pop Stop shirt in that episode! It's an old market in Highland Park in LA that has hundreds of different sodas and beers:

Wow, nicely done.

Tom's performance over the course of the hour reminded me of this:

I'm about to sit back and listen to some pre-#BestShow2014 Hype!!  Tom was on a WPRB's radio show hosted by Jon Solomon for a 2 hour (!) talk today, which has been archived here: http://keepingscoreathome.com/?p=2467

Loving this so far, because it sounds more like Tom on the Best Show in how he's speaking and his digressions.

Fredericks of Panama City does have a nice ring to it.

We can only hope that Secret Project #X will have something to do with TCGS and Tom's Hitchcock style appearances there for the past several months.  You have to imagine that any FOTs calling up were screened out because Jake was there and Tom was so obviously on camera.  I wonder what, if anything, he had to say to Carrie Brownstein.

Anyone have a nonflash version of this interview?
