Yes, it was THE Gordon, he has made a few calls this past year. Who by the way is not related or affiliated with Kid Kansas at all whatsoever. They are 2 different shmucks.

Thanks for the info.  Show archivist buffcoat had claimed his extensive voice analyses convinced him they were the same person.

You are not alone. I love Gary so much. In fact, the musical intro to the Gary & Vance Show is my favorite show moment of the year.

I hope Gary's second "Get it!?" only gets more and more intense and angry.

One of the Best Best Show's in years that didn't feature a special appearance or special event.
Favorite Mo: @1:22:55, Tom as Trump simply saying “Tetley Tea”

Runners-up: during  Spike’s call, every time Tom asked-sincerely asked “Who?”, “Who??”; the Marfans are becoming the new Zilch from misthamine; “when they start that Guuuuuuuuuuuuuus chant, it gets the adrenaline flowing”

The inspiration for the Mount Carmel album cover comes from the '72 Topps cards

Jane - do you have personal knowledge of this?  If so, I'm willing to revisit.  They sound awfully similar to me, but radio makes it a best-guess situation a lot of the time.

I know that "Gordon" has called in as several other people throughout the years.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Since today is the anniversary of the deaths of Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley I'm listening to the April 6, 2004 Best Show. It's the one with Chubby Checker's history of grunge in the first hour. Classic stuff!
