The Asia thing was great.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I think my favorite part of this week's show was Dr. H's first, polite attempt at a GOMP, which didn't take. A GOMPer having to face the GOMPed was like slamming a door in someone's face, only it's just a screen door, and they can still see you standing there on the other side. Or maybe pushing somebody out of a first floor window.
This may be the year I will disappear.

Can I use this in something?
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

The misGOMP and, what I like to call, the "Asia-sneak" were the two things that made me laugh the most.  But the whole episode was still a lot of fun.

I still hope Tom isn't really planning to leave any time soon.

The whole nazi sandwich discussion was a gem.

It's always a good idea to bring up Hitler.

That's part of what made the misGOMPS so great.  H-Man was just a nice guy (not that Tom's not nice; you get it) making an honest stab at fulfilling the Best Show format.  It's somehow fitting that he would have face his victims.

I was trying to think of what the misGOMPS were like. The closest thing I could come up with was when Will Ferrell is being burned alive in the first Austin Powers. "I am very badly burned..."

Exactly the same word I was thinking. I especially liked when he went into his explanation of how his frat was a force of good, but dug his ditch even deeper. Increased his endearing factor threefold.

There is also the scene in Bananas where Woody Allen avoids the two hoodlums assaulting an old lady on the subway.  Then he faux-heroically tosses them off the subway car just as the doors close, but they open right back up.

Last night was a solid show, I laughed from beginning to end and the H-Man certainly didn't disappoint - even if it wasn't what I was expecting (I was expecting a Wurster in-studio faux 'shock jock' that Tom pretended to adore whilst nauseating half the listening audience with relentless chat) it was a fine piece of broadcasting. Hitler Sandwich and faux-GOMPs (or GOOPs as they became) were the highlights. Oh, and H's less-than-passionate defence of his college show co-host, who Tom said was 'the worst'.
"How do they see you when there's no light?"

That call was weird, but it was spun into gold when Tom mocked her hateful praise after he gomped her.
