While attending trivia night at Clifton's Shannon Rose bar and restaurant, I had the privilege(?) of meeting THE MATSUFLEX. He strolled in to the curiously-empty dining room with a woman whose outrageously fake tan and surgically-enhanced décolletage stole some of his celebrity clout. Surprisingly, 'FLEX failed to live up to his toolish reputation. Bedecked in what could have been the entire Ed Hardy men's spring line and aggressively faux-hawked, 'SU remained civil throughout the evening, returning greetings from fans and onlookers alike with grace and aplomb. He didn't shout, cry, or threaten lives. Stools remained standing, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't inspired by such composure.

Is it just me, or do these tools actually seem fairly innocuous next to this gallery of douchebags? Can television cameras simply not handle tans of that saturation level?

Good lord!  Some of those guys need help.

The two that look like Gotti's grandsons are okay in my book though... In case they ARE Gotti's grandsons. (wipes sweat from forehead).

Did anyone catch the premier of season 2 last night?  The show is off to a real trashy start.  The host even lost his cool at one point and started screaming obscenities.

I love this show, no matter how staged it is.

oh dear god, this season is going to be so good.

seeing those d-bags do their underwear-party thing at the top of the show made me be like "oh god, these poor women, look what they have to put up with" but then i realized that they don't HAVE to put up with ANYTHING.  and it occured to me that the girls are just as stupid, if not more stupid, for staying with these axe-body-spray-drenched gorillas in the first place.  I mean, if you think your boyfriend is actually a big enough neanderthal to go on tool academy, why don't you just move on and get someone else?

those girls were nuts to not get up and storm out of the room as soon as they saw those interview videos of their boyfriends.  that was some of the most mean-spirited and awful things i've ever heard human beings say.

all that aside though, oh my god, this is gonna be a great season.  i can't wait to see these worthless, brainless slabs of meat make complete asses of themselves.

i guarantee that giant 6'6 guy is going to be the source of many a laugh over the next couple of months.

it will definitely be hard to top the first episode, between the creepy guy who was expelled and the host flipping out, and there are still 11 guys left.  not to mention, im with you on the girlfriends, but i thought the same thing during season one.  i think only ONE girl dumped her boyfriend at the end of the show.

however, i must admit that seeing these self-absorbed people turned into half decent human beings (no matter how staged) is rewarding.  it's why i was such a huge fan of Beauty and the Geek, despite how shallow those girls were.

The best part about this show is that it makes me look like the greatest husband in the world by comparison.

ok, i saw first hand, via satellite, the two of you together (not to mention, i subscribe to the twitters and the blogs), and you guys are the greatest COUPLE, end of story.

also, end of mushy, flattery.
