What about cheese, erika?

It belongs in my belly, surrounded by bread.

Look at it this way:  iif you stopped eating it, you would be denying it its main source of joy.  Someone would have to call the ASPCC.

Foo. This used to be true for me, but these days my stomach gets mad at me if I eat dairy.

Try cheeses aged over 9 months or made with goats milk. Sometimes it's a lactose intolerance thing and not purely a dairy thing.

I will never stop eating cheese or bread. Ever.

GOAL WEIGHT!!!!!! YESSSSSSS. GOOOOOOAL.

Also, I ate pizza the last 3 days and I'm having it again tomorrow. So this might be short-lived. We're getting an exercise bike so maybe that will help too!

The bike is mostly for my husband to help with his back condition/injury, but maybe if I move from time to time, I might actually tone some of this smooshy body.

Weight Watchers. Seriously. I love it. It's like a puzzle with calories.

That, and we joined a CSA so we get loads of fresh veggies every week and that forces me to eat healthy at least a few days of the week. I do, however, enjoy placing aforementioned veggies on pizza or cooking them up with pasta, so you gotta watch that :)

The biggest thing is that I make my lunches light. I love a pita stuffed with fresh veg and hummus with fruits and veggies on the side.

"Pizza" tip:  I make these all the time. You get a package of Ezekial tortillas. Their the worst things on earth for wraps or burritos, but what they are good for is a makeshift pizza crust. Spread sauce up on there and sprinkle with cheese and your favorite toppings. Bake at 450 for five minutes or so. Voila. Sure the cheese just kind of slides around on the sauce and it doesn't all really stick together like pizza but it tastes real good. At least when I make it it does.

Thank you Dr. Freedricks. I shall ride. And trust me, you don't have to tell us what one can learn from pain :) We had quite a winter/spring.

Everyday, after supper, I've been trying to hike on a nearby bike path for two hours. My goal is by end of summer to lose around ten pounds. I just need some extra energy to get me through the day, so that I don't  fall asleep next to strangers on a bus.

i did this (with my own choice of tortilla) and it was delicious!
