There is something inexplicably adorable about Vance interrupting Tom to comment on a particular moment in a Pink Floyd song.

Yeh and I like how Tom sometimes mentions things over and over. I am trying to think of examples other than Gervais but I can't right now.

Nick DePaulo and the jacket. Never will get old. I love that story and the fresh "outrage" every time.

Yes! And along those same lines, when the Brooklyn kids in McCarren Park made fun of Tom's large sunglasses.

My favorite is

"but but but BUT BUT...IF "IF'S" AND "BUTS" WERE CANDIES AND NUTS WE'D ALL HAVE A HELLUVA CHRISTMAS!  You know who said that dontcha? You know who said that?"

I've appropriated that one for myself.
Vandalism! Sick vandalism! When I get my hands on the little punks I'm gonna hang them by their Buster Browns!

Best moment was the 12-year old Canadian Glenn Beck GOMP.  Truly amazing and shattering.  Most amazing new caller in ages.

The build-a-movie theme was amazing all 'round.  Z.O.R.K. deservedly wins the crown, but I really liked the idea of Dubai-aie-AIE!  I would actually go see Dubai-aie-AIE! based on the premise constructed on the show. I have a thing for metafilm, even if it was bad metafilm, e.g. And God Spoke!

I liked Vance getting snippy with the guy on the phone for not providing initiative.

If there were any worst moments, I forgot them.

This one of the moments when you can tell Tom's patience is tested and he's trying as hard as he can not to break character.

Dubai Aie AIE! I thought for sure he was going to be remaking "Some Like It Hot". Making "Some Like It Hot" in Dubai seems like a good premise for a movie.

Zork! Damn, it's like a Steven King novel! The secret government program, the quirky New England-isms, the mysterious stranger/mysterious old man, everything!

I was half hoping it would be about the video game though.

I really enjoyed the Ricky Gervais bashing:
-Tom's Ricky Gervais laugh
-Ricky's podcast chum works for ice cream sandwiches and a cab ride home
-Everyone receives 2 black t-shirts upon passing their exam.

Also: "this little windshield wiper has got everyone talking."

Really disappointed to find out that Zork isn't an adaptation of the text-based adventure game for the Commodore 64.  Sample of a typical exchange between me and Zork in the 80's:

"Zork: You have encountered a troll. What would you like to do?
 Me: Fuck the troll.
 Zork: You silly."

Does anyone else remember this game?

Yep. I'm pretty sure there's even an iphone version of it.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Most definitely. Actually there's a whole subculture of geeks who write their own text adventures using more or less the same engine Zork used. There's a book about it I read recently, 'Twisty little passages'.

I too was at first disappointed it wasn't the Infocom game, but then: 'did you hear the news? Zork's coming!'

Zork, Adventure, Hitchhiker's Guide, all the early text-based games.

You guys are old.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
